Carolina Tonco - violin

Carolina Tonco is a violinist with extensive experience in both Italian and German youth orchestras, as well as in prominent professional settings.
She has performed at venues such as the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Italian Senate, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as abroad in Ontario (Canada) and New York (USA).
Her professionalism goes beyond the performance of music, as she devotes the same dedication and passion to teaching. She teaches young musicians preparing for conservatoire entrance exams or orchestral auditions, as well as adults who play for the sheer joy of music.
She is constantly looking for opportunities to link her musical activities with activism and the promotion of social values such as intercultural dialogue, inclusion and youth empowerment, in line with Peace Child's mission. She has participated in two performances of the Music for Human Rights project (in Bosnia and in Israel) and has performed with the Sinopoli Orchestra, part of the El Sistema Italia programme.
