Ema Bajc started her musical career in Ljubljana, her hometown. She first presented herself to the public at the age of 13 with a solo concert with the Slovenian Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra. At that moment she fell in love with the stage and dedicated her career to music. After graduating from the Secondary Music School in Ljubljana under the tutelage of Prof. Nataša Paklar, she continued her education at the undergraduate level in Germany under the tutelage of Prof. Dejan Gavrić and at the postgraduate level at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under the tutelage of Prof. Kersten McCall.
Over the years she has performed in a wide range of youth and professional orchestras; the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie in Germany, Gürzenich Orchester Köln, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Wiesbaden Staatstheater, and Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Mainz. It is withfloor substitutethat in the Royal to the orchestra Concertgebouw, Royal Chamber to the orchestra Concertgebouw and the Noord Nederlands Orkest in the Netherlands. In 2017, she furthered her career with her first appearance in the European Union Youth Orchestra.. OFrom 2020 to 2022, it was a member of the Mthe Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra. From July 2022 she is a member of the Bremen Philharmonic under the direction ofMark Letonja.
