Goran Feed (1979) is a musician, composer and arranger who finds his main creative expression as a virtuoso tuba player with jazz, folk and classical influences. He studied classical music at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana (2000-2004), followed by jazz studies at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, the Netherlands (2004-2008). In addition to regular concerts with renowned international musicians from a wide variety of genres, he is Feedpresent on more than a dozen sound carriers. In 2019, his Planetarium project for solo tuba and electronically manipulated sound was premiered. He has created original music for the radio plays The Mute Character (Radio Slovenia, 2021) The Annunciation of Mary (Radio Slovenia, 2022) and Antigone (Radio Slovenia, 2023), as well as music for the Slovenian documentary film City of Light (2018). He also appears as a musician on stage (The Unstoppable Rise of Arturo Uio, SNG Drama/Cankarjev dom, 2012; Pohujšanje v dolini šentflorjanski, SNG Drama/MGL/Cankarjev dom, 2018; Jakiš in Pupče, SNG Nova Gorica, 2020; Seven Seconds of Eternity, Mini teater, 2022). Feed is present on the soundtracks of renowned Slovenian jazz, pop and folk artists such as Janez Dovč and Sounds of Slovenia, Kaja Draksler, Robert Jukič, Big band RTV Slovenia, Boštjan Simon, Rudi Bučar and others. Since 2013 he has been the artistic director of the Cerknica Big Band.
