The Bled Strategic Forum 2022 was officially opened with the music of the Ukrainian-Slovenian Youth String Orchestra "Music for the future". For the first time, the words of the European Union anthem "Ode to Joy" were translated into Ukrainian at the Forum, sung by Marina Dolibets, a participant of our humanitarian-art project from Zhytomyr.
After an emotional and inspiring performance by the artists, the Forum participants were welcomed with opening remarks by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon, the Secretary General of the Forum, Peter Grk, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenski.
