Peter started his musical career with Andrea Lenardič-Konjedic at the Music School in Nova Gorica. He continued his studies at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet, first with Maja Kojc and then with Irmgard Anderl-Krajter, and then at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana with Matej Šarc. After graduating from the latter, he moved to the Netherlands, where he began his studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Ernest Rombout, Miriam Pastor Burgos and Aisling Casey, and completed his Master's degree last summer. 

Over the years, he has received several awards in Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and France. He has been part of many international youth orchestras, including the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, the Alberola MMCV Orchestra in Spain, the Luxembourg Summer Orchestra, as well as being a reserve member of the EUYO (Europen Youth Orchestra) and the Verbier Festival Orchestra (Verbier Festival Orchestra).  

In 2022, he was also a member of the Academy of the Korean National Orchestra in Seoul. 

He has performed extensively at home and abroad (Croatia, Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, United Arab Emirates, South Korea) and has been part of festivals such as Festival Ljubljana, Festival Nei Suoni dei Luoghi in Italy, Festival Lent, Young Euro Classic in Berlin, Hindemith Viola Festival in Amsterdam, etc. He is a permanent substitute of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Phion, Orkest van Gelderland & Overijssel, the Netherlands National Opera and Het Ballet Orkest, and has also worked with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the RTV Slovenia Orchestra and the Slovenian Police Orchestra.
