The Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra is organising an international orchestra academy in 2024 as part of the EU project "Sounds of Change". Young, talented artists from all over Europe are invited to take part in the "Don Quixote Transformation" programme, which combines the music of R. Strauss with circus arts. After intensive preparation, this interdisciplinary work of art will be presented in both Portugal and Spain. The project will take place from 5 to 14 July 2024 in the picturesque town of Guarda in central Portugal and promises to be a rich cultural and educational experience.
