Conductor, musicologist and artistic director of the Slovenian Youth Orchestra and a music producer got the idea to help young Ukrainian musicians after seeing footage of a demolished Ukrainian music academy. A conversation with the conductor, founder and artistic director of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine Oksana Liniv, who suggested trying to save as many young musicians as possible. The project, which has evolved from an evacuation project into an artistic, donation, solidarity and integration project, is called Music for the Future, and its aim is not only to offer a safe temporary shelter, but also to provide young musicians with a supportive environment, continuous education and experience.
